This page explains what we collect when you use shaunlucas.studio and our tools, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we only ask for what we need to do the thing you asked for, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are

We keep everyone in one contact list, tagged by where you signed up. That tag is how we know which part of the site is useful. We don't use it to bombard you: you only hear from us about the thing you signed up for, unless you ask for more.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal data.
- We don't use what you put into our tools to train AI models.
- We don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly serious effects.
Data sent abroad
Some of these services store data outside your country, often in the United States. Where the law requires it, they protect it with approved safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Tool and waitlist sign-ups: until the launch email goes out, then [12 months], unless you join the newsletter.
- Tool results: [12 months], so you can come back to them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Enquiries: [two years] if nothing comes of it. If you become a client, for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
- Analytics: [14 months], or the analytics tool's default.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or use it for less
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a common format
If we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and that works instantly.
To use any of these rights, email [privacy email address]. We'll reply within a month, usually much sooner. If you're in the EU or UK and you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you're in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the same rights to know, correct and delete, and we'll never treat you differently for using them.
Children
The site isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
Keeping it safe
We use services with proper security, limit who can see your data, and only keep it as long as we need it. No system is perfect, but if something ever went wrong, we'd tell you and the authorities where the law requires it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change matters, we'll tell you by email first.
